Programs
Children's Programs
The library offers weekly storytimes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers throughout the school year, featuring stories, songs, and early literacy activities. Special children's events include STEM activities, craft programs, and author visits. The Summer Reading Challenge encourages children to read throughout the summer with prizes and fun activities.
Teen Programs
Teen programming includes after-school events, gaming nights, creative writing workshops, and volunteer opportunities. The library provides a dedicated space for teens to study, hang out, and participate in programs. Teen Advisory Board members help plan events and provide input on teen collections.
Adult Programs
Adult programs include book discussion groups, author events, technology classes, craft workshops, and informational presentations. The library partners with community organizations to offer programs on topics such as personal finance, health and wellness, and local history. Most programs are free and open to the public.
Summer Reading Challenge
The annual Summer Reading Challenge runs from June through July and is open to all ages — children, teens, and adults. Participants track their reading and earn prizes along the way. The program is designed to prevent summer learning loss in children and promote reading as a lifelong habit for the whole family.
