Library Hours
The Waverly Public Library is open Monday through Thursday 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Friday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Saturday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. The library is closed on Sundays and major holidays. Holiday closures are posted in advance at the library and on the website.
About the Library
The Waverly Public Library has served the community since 1901 and is located at 1500 W Bremer Ave. The library provides free access to books, audiobooks, DVDs, magazines, digital resources, public computers, meeting rooms, and community programming. The library is fine-free — there are no overdue fines on any materials.
Board of Trustees
The Library Board of Trustees is appointed by the Mayor and governs library operations, sets policy, and oversees the library budget. The Board meets on the second Monday of each month at 5:00 PM at the library. Meetings are open to the public and agendas are posted in advance.
Library Policies
Library policies cover borrowing, computer use, meeting room reservations, unattended children, and patron behavior. The Waverly Public Library welcomes all community members and strives to maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
