About & Staff
City Administration coordinates daily operations across all city departments and serves as the primary liaison between the City Council and city staff. The office manages the annual budget process, oversees human resources, and handles intergovernmental relations on behalf of the City of Waverly.
City Council
The Waverly City Council meets on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Mondays of each month at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 200 1st Street NE. Meetings are open to the public. Agendas are posted at City Hall and online at least 24 hours in advance.
Public Records
Under Iowa Code Chapter 22 (Iowa Open Records Law), most city records are available for public inspection. The City of Waverly is committed to transparency and will fulfill records requests as promptly as possible. Requests may be submitted in writing to the City Clerk at City Hall or by email.
