About City Administration
City Administration coordinates daily operations across all city departments and serves as the primary liaison between the City Council and city staff. The office manages the annual budget process, oversees human resources, and handles intergovernmental relations on behalf of the City of Waverly.
City Manager
The City Manager is appointed by the City Council and is responsible for implementing Council policy, directing department operations, and preparing the annual budget. The City Manager also represents Waverly in regional planning efforts and intergovernmental coordination.
City Clerk
The City Clerk maintains all official city records, prepares agendas and minutes for City Council meetings, administers municipal elections, and processes public records requests. The Clerk's office also handles business license registrations and special event permits.
