Economic Development Commission
The Economic Development Commission is an advisory body appointed by the Mayor that guides the city's economic development strategy. The Commission reviews incentive applications, recommends policy to the City Council, and helps set priorities for business recruitment, retention, and workforce development efforts.
Meeting Schedule
The Economic Development Commission meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 AM at City Hall, 200 1st Street NE. Meetings are open to the public. Agendas are posted in advance and minutes are available after approval.
Get Involved
Business owners, community leaders, and residents interested in shaping Waverly's economic future are encouraged to attend Commission meetings. Those interested in serving on the Commission should contact City Administration. Terms are typically three years, and the Commission seeks members with diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
