Janesville Fire and Emergency Services is led by the Fire Chief, who oversees approximately 120 sworn firefighter/paramedics and civilian staff across 5 fire stations.

Fire stations

The department operates 5 fire stations strategically located across the city to provide rapid response coverage. Station assignments rotate to ensure all areas receive consistent service.

Call volume

The department responds to approximately 3,000 fire calls and 8,400 EMS calls annually, totaling over 11,400 emergency responses per year.
