Police Community Engagement Programs Expanded
The Janesville Police Department has expanded its community engagement programs, including new Neighborhood Watch partnerships and school resource officer initiatives.
The Janesville Police Department is expanding its community engagement programs for 2026. New initiatives include additional Neighborhood Watch partnerships, expanded school resource officer (SRO) programs, and community conversation sessions in partnership with neighborhood associations.
Chief of Police invites residents to contact the Community Services division at (608) 755-3100 to learn about neighborhood partnership opportunities or to request a community presentation.
